Carciofi

The client owned, and loved, an antique piano stool whose carved leather seat shows a stylised artichoke (carciofo in Italian). She wanted the motif carried into her curtains and cushions. I redrew it as a vector artwork, reinterpreting the original rather than tracing it, so it could be printed cleanly on fabric at any size.
