Put Hours In

A logo I designed for Put Hours In, a small recording studio that was about to launch. Inside an outer ring, I combined the initials P, H and I into the Greek letter phi (φ): an inner circle crossed by a diagonal stroke. Two broken arcs sweep around it like the grooves of a spinning record. With just a few elements, the mark carries several readings at once, so it rewards a second look and stays in the memory.
